Ms. Rivas, a licensed and bilingual clinical social worker working in the nonprofit sector for more than 13 years. She is familiar with a range of populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of sexual abuse and violence in intimate relationships, and so on. In 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas works with women pre- and postpartum as part of The Perinatal Behavioral Team. She specializes in trauma-informed care and provides EMDR for adults. She also provides Group or one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted treatment program, referral for specific care, as well as a Women's support group. Amanda assists in finding forever animal homes through her role as a Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She wholeheartedly believes in Best Friends' slogan, Save Them All, and has set out to help make Los Angeles become a no kill city. Amanda is a person who makes the best of every day.
